Registration, Consultation & assessment
Applicants must register using the registration form and attend trial classes assigned by the school. Assessment is carried out in classroom setting. We will provide consultation to gauge the level of the student’s knowledge and recommend the suitable year-of-entry for the student. Upon acceptance by the parent/guardian, a letter of admission will be provided.
During MCO (Movement Control Order) period, Lumiere Academy may conduct online assessment to applicants based on their academic background. Classes are conducted online and therefore, all students have to equip themselves with necessary digital device to attend daily lessons. Our unique assessment process ensures new students are assigned to the appropriate class. Apart from looking at the latest exam results from the new students, we will assess the learning ability of the students. We are interested in how the students communicate with the teachers and the classmates as well. Our approach ensures new students to have a smooth transition to Lumiere Academy from their previous school. We understand that adapting to a new learning environment may be a challenging process for some.
Upon completion of registrating, parents will be given a school academic calendar and class timetable. New students attend daily lessons according to their class timetable. Class timetables remain the same for both physical and online classes.
